Preliminary Task

The week before we broke up we were set our preliminary task so we could think about it over half term.  The title of the task is, Continuity task involving filming and editing a character opening a door, crossing a room and sitting down in a chair opposite another character, with whom she/he then exchanges a couple of lines of dialogue. This task should demonstrate match on action, shot/reverse shot, the rule of thirds and the 180-degree rule. over the half term break I have been thinking about how I can use the 180-degree rule, match on action, shot/reverse shot and rule of thirds when doing this task.

In the last few weeks we have been using are skills that we have learnt to edit lots of sound clips together to make a disaster scene and the video below is mine and jacks final clip.

Editing task

The video below is a short clip that we made to show that we could use a range of different camera shots and angles and show that we could edit clips together. the clip does need work doing to it but this was our first effort at filming.
